No. You keep the shared address customers already use. Inbox Distro connects to that mailbox and handles distribution behind it.
No. Assigned messages are forwarded to each staff member’s normal email account. Administrators use the web application to manage distribution.
New accounts receive a 14-day trial. You can configure staff, routing, and a test mailbox before using production processing.
Inbox Distro selects the next eligible staff member and advances the group rotation after a successful assignment.
Yes. Weighted distribution lets you give experienced staff a larger share or gradually increase assignments for newer staff.
Unavailable staff are skipped without being removed. Their schedule can also make them automatically eligible only during working hours.
Yes. Ordered routing rules can assign messages to a group or specific staff member based on sender, recipient, subject, body, mailbox, headers, attachments, and other conditions.
Yes. Permanent relationships can match an email address, domain, customer ID, or external-system identifier to an established staff member.
Inbox Distro supports Microsoft 365 and configurable incoming and outgoing mail-server connections. Gmail OAuth is also available when its provider credentials are configured.
They can be. You may use the incoming account for outgoing delivery or uncheck that option and configure a separate outgoing server.
The original remains in the customer’s source mailbox or follows the mailbox handling option selected by its administrator. Inbox Distro does not retain a full copy, body, attachment, header set, or .eml file on its server.
The Messages page records metadata, routing decisions, assignment, forwarding attempts, delivery status, retry history, and errors without retaining the full email content.
The message remains visible for review. Configured retries and administrator alerts help you respond without losing the original request.
Yes. Users and roles control who can view activity, manage distribution, administer users, or access owner-level client and billing tools.
No. Stored mailbox credentials and integration secrets are encrypted and are not displayed back to users.
Each Microsoft mailbox can be connected with revocable OAuth authorization. Inbox Distro uses that mailbox connection for receiving, folder access, and sending instead of exposing a mailbox password. The authorization can be disconnected at any time.
Yes. Administrators can issue revocable API keys and retrieve messages, assignments, delivery results, staff, and groups or submit external leads for normal routing.
Yes. Inbox Distro monitors worker activity, mail accounts, processing queues, delivery failures, and backups and can email administrators when health changes.
Plans are based on staff, connected mail accounts, and processed-message limits. Current plan details are listed on the Pricing page.
Yes. Organization administrators can use Plan & Billing to upgrade, manage payment details, review invoices, or open the Stripe billing portal.
Yes. Cancellation is managed through the secure billing portal. Access continues according to the billing-period status shown in your account.
The application tracks processed-message usage against the plan limit and directs administrators to upgrade when more capacity is required.
